Donna’s tendency to stay busy most hours of the day extends beyond the hectic pace she runs at Northwest Insights. Even in her spare time, Donna can be found snowshoeing or hiking on the trails, attending a variety of sporting events and good movies. About the only time she is stationary is when Fudge, the cat she rescued, anchors Donna by taking over her lap.
Janet joined Northwest Insights (formerly Gilmore Research) in 2012 with over 25 years of experience in the market research industry. Her background includes project management for a variety of qualitative methods including focus groups, usability testing, taste tests, one-on-one interviews, ethnography studies, product placement, mystery shopping, and intercepts. She also has experience managing quantitative studies done via phone, online or mail. Prior to her Project Management role Janet spent some years as a Data Collection Manager; managing a phone center, outside field interviewing staff, coders and data entry personnel.
One of Janet’s life long passions started with a trip to the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare festival in high school and since then she has seen numerous productions in many of Seattle’s theater companies. Her daily commute by bus gives her the free time to indulge in another passion – reading (mainly science fiction). After moving into a house from a condominium last year Janet has spent more time than she would like trying to get a rundown yard and garden into shape.
Celeste began her career at Northwest Insights as Host and Facility Coordinator, providing the utmost in care, and attentive customer service to all NWI clients using our facility, as well as handling the coordination and scheduling of the host staff. She has a degree in Merchandise Marketing, and is fascinated with Market Research. Now, as a Project Manager, she is able to further use her exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills while working with clients and internal staff to successfully manage projects through their completion.
As a US Navy Air Traffic Control Veteran, Celeste is still drawn to aviation, and has traveled quite a bit, although she says her “to see” list is still lengthy. She has also practiced yoga extensively, and has a degree in martial arts, so enjoys any type of energetic activity, but is always looking to expand her interests; meteorology and dancing, to name a few.
